Sunday morning

Dear Juniper,

I tried the bread again. Still a brick, but a nicer brick. The kitchen smelled like my grandmother’s, which I think was the point.

You asked what makes somewhere feel like home. I’m still thinking. Maybe it’s who’s waiting for a letter. What are you reading these days?

Juniper is writing back

why three dots?

The three dots that mean someone’s writing to you.

You know them from your phone: someone, somewhere, is about to send you something. We slowed that moment down. Every letter here travels through three dots, from one person to another.

  1. Dot one · You

    You write and post it

Write by hand and mail it to the Three Dots forwarding address, with your letter reference on the envelope.

  2. Dot two · Three Dots

    We pass it along

We record that it arrived and send it on in a fresh envelope. Neither of you ever sees the other’s address.

  3. Dot three · Your penpal

    Your penpal opens it

They read it in their own time. When they write back, the three dots start again, the other way.

Updates are recorded milestones, not live postal tracking. Delivery times vary.
